Connie has been married to Rich for 58 years. God blessed their marriage with 4 daughters, 4 good son-in-laws, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She met Valerie Vitunic (founder of The Lazarus Center) in the early 90’s. Learning about God’s design for the ministry, she sought help through a class that was offered. That class was the beginning of Jesus awakening her spirit and soul to the healing she needed. It put a fire in her to be Valerie’s cheerleader in doing all God was calling her to do with the ministry. She volunteered and was invited on the board. As the ministry grew, she was blessed to be asked to be Assistant Director. She served for many years, only resigned when she and Rich became happy snowbirds in Florida. She continued to stay connected to help. A passion grew in her to pass onto other women what she received that changed her and all areas of her life! As God provided the connections, she was able to do ministry in her county jail for 6 years. She and Rich bought a home and established a ministry for women who needed healing and new life in Christ to live for a time. Connie has had many opportunities to teach, lead small groups, mentor, and encourage the women in her church, and all women God brings into her life. She currently serves again on the Lazarus Center Board. Connie continues to hold the same desire for the ministry to thrive, to honor God, and to change lives through Jesus' love and healing.
