Are you facing a difficult time in your life? Whether you are looking for Inner Healing prayer, or simply a caring friend to listen as you process your thoughts and emotions, we encourage you to schedule a free, in-person appointment with a trained member of our prayer team.

Are you struggling to process your pain, deal with life’s ongoing pressures, cope with circumstances beyond your control, or find peace and contentment in a challenging season? Has the weight of grief, loneliness, or depression become too difficult to bear on your own? The Lazarus Center is here to offer you support. Whether you are looking for Inner Healing prayer, or simply a caring friend to listen as you process your thoughts and emotions, we encourage you to schedule a free, in-person appointment with a trained member of our prayer team.
Inner healing prayer is a tool for God to use when coping mechanisms are insufficient to handle life’s challenges and pains to bring healing and freedom. Inner healing prayer focuses on the inner person — the heart, mind, memories, and emotions — rather than only external behaviors or circumstances. Through prayer, Scripture, and attentive listening to the Holy Spirit, individuals are gently guided to encounter Jesus within areas of pain, trauma, sin, or broken relationships.
The goal is not merely emotional relief, but transformation — allowing God’s truth, love, and presence to replace lies, shame, fear, and unresolved wounds. Healing is understood as something God initiates and accomplishes, while trained prayer ministers serve as compassionate companions who create a safe, prayerful space for the work of the Holy Spirit.
Sessions are typically held at The Lazarus Center in Bellevue, but we’re also open to meeting you where you’re comfortable. Everyone who leads individual prayer meetings is part of our community and has received training in inner healing prayer from TLC or another organization.
If you are still unsure about inner healing prayer, but you would like to talk to a member of our team, we encourage you to reach out and let us know how we can help you process through your thoughts and emotions in a way that best suits your needs.

Transformational Prayer is a very important factor in my life. Without it, I am not sure I would be here today... I have encountered the living Jesus speak healing to my deepest brokenness, and seen others encounter His presence and healing as well.

This process is not just for the big hurts... it's for our everyday lives. When we overreact to a situation or have negative emotions, we need to incorporate a sensitivity to go to our Father and ask if there is something broken that needs to heal.

Our volunteers are more than helpers; they are partners in ministry. They extend The Lazarus Center’s mission and demonstrate Christ’s love through service, and we would not be able to function without them. If you would like to offer your time and talents, please get in touch with us.
