Reflective Pastoral Training and Care is an in-depth training program to help Christain leaders learn to care for other by:
Who is this program for? Those who want training in how to help others grow and be healed, emotionally and spiritually.
Those who want to receive personal healing and growth, emotionally and spiritually.
Those who want to understand and address some of the deeper roots of addiction, depression, anxiety, sexual brokeness, brokeness in relationships.
A great follow-up or addition for anyone in support groups, counseling, or recovery programs for the previous.
Anyone who wants to be a leader in the Restoration Journey - a program for those in recovery from addictions, depression, ect.
Those who have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
What does it "look like"? 1) One Saturday per month, 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - teaching or training event and two weekend retreats, Freedom in Christ and Inner Healing Prayer.
2) 1-2 hours reflection time during the week. Activity papers will be given each week to reflect upon. (Great for quiet time.)
3) 1-1.5 hours per week where you will be listened or ministered to (Listening, Inner Healing Prayer, Counseling).
4) Opportunities to be a facilitator and learn about ministry and yourself by doing. (Some Saturday times)
5) Your personal spiritual component: attend church weekly; take advantage of any healing prayer ministry; have a regular quiet time consisting of Bible study, reflective time and prayer; attend a weekly Bible study or prayer group for fellowship, study and prayer.
